Person with Disabilities has been included in Weaker Section for Lending by Banks

Please refer to Para­graph IV of our Mas­ter Cir­cu­lar RPCD.CO.Plan.BC 10/04.09.01/2014–15 dat­ed July 1, 2014 on Pri­or­i­ty Sec­tor Lend­ing-Tar­gets and Classification.

2. It has been decid­ed that pri­or­i­ty sec­tor loans to Per­sons with Dis­abil­i­ties will be eli­gi­ble for clas­si­fi­ca­tion under Weak­er Sec­tions category.

3. These guide­lines are effec­tive from the date of this circular.
