The Trib­al Co-oper­a­tive Mar­ket­ing Devel­op­ment Fed­er­a­tion Invites Appli­ca­tion for Inter­nal Audit for FY 2023–24

The Trib­al Co-oper­a­tive Mar­ket­ing Devel­op­ment Fed­er­a­tion of India Ltd. (TRIFED), under the Min­istry of Trib­al Affairs, has released an Expres­sion of Inter­est (EOI) for the appoint­ment of Inter­nal Audi­tors for the finan­cial year 2023–24. The audit will cov­er three region­al offices—Bhubaneswar (Odisha), Kolkata (West Ben­gal & A&N Islands), and Gang­tok (Sikkim)—including all respec­tive Tribes India outlets.

The esti­mat­ed con­tract val­ue is ₹25 lakhs, and an EMD of ₹1,25,000 is applic­a­ble unless exempt­ed. The audit dura­tion is two months, extend­able by one month upon jus­ti­fi­ca­tion. The selec­tion will fol­low the QCBS (Qual­i­ty & Cost Based Selec­tion) method, with an 80:20 weigh­tage ratio for tech­ni­cal and finan­cial evaluation.

Eli­gi­ble Char­tered Accoun­tant firms must be CAG-empan­elled, pos­sess offices in spec­i­fied regions, and have an annu­al turnover of at least ₹1 crore in the last three finan­cial years. A min­i­mum of 7 years of expe­ri­ence in sim­i­lar audits and a capa­ble team to exe­cute con­cur­rent audits across three loca­tions is required.

The scope includes finan­cial report­ing, com­pli­ance checks, risk man­age­ment, stock and asset ver­i­fi­ca­tion, and sys­tem audits, among oth­ers. The audit find­ings will sup­port TRIFED’s gov­er­nance and inter­nal con­trol sys­tems to enhance trans­paren­cy and account­abil­i­ty in trib­al wel­fare schemes.
